*BEGIN WITH GOD PT4*

*The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light*. 

*Gen 1:2-3*.

Yesterday we saw how God was faced with challenges as He embarked on the journey of creation and eventually He looked down on the challenge and in verse three the bible said that what He did was to say what he wanted. He spoke what He wanted into being.

Apart from working there are things we need to speak into being as we journey in this 2024. There are things that we are going to see that we don't want to see but child of God we have a weapon for them so don't worry.

Speaking is not all about talking, Speaking can come in the form of prayer were we exercise the opportunity and grace given to us by God. Speaking can be talking to the right people that can help us and ultimately speaking can be talking to God who has the supreme power to help us.

Speaking is not just about opening our mouth to say just anything. No sir, it must be the right things, it must be things that are capable of changing our situations and it must be of the things that can bring about those things that we want to see.

You can't speak negatively and expect to see things positively. No sir it doesn't work that way. If what you are speaking is not coming to pass it means that what you are speaking is not the right things as when God spoke it came to pass because after that the bible said that "God said" the next thing that it said was that God saw.

Sometimes you need to keep speaking until you see what you are saying, it doesn't mean that you are not saying the right things but you need to wait on God to confirm what you have said.

Beloved, I learn how to bless yourself in this year with the right words, bless your children with what you speak and bless your work with your words. speak what you want to see.

I pray for you today that any man or woman or powers or kingdoms that is waiting for you at the door of your success to frustrate or stop you from succeeding that the God of heaven will answer them from the place of thunder in the name of Jesus.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your faith and never loose hope and be fervent in prayers and praise knowing that God, your father loves you specially and will never leave you nor forsake you.

*OUR BEGINNING OF THE YEAR PROGRAME*.

By way of encouraging ourselves to start the year with God we started a prayer and fasting programme to enable us to wait on God and we outlined the following as a guide.

1. Start with prayer and fasting. It may be for 7, 21 or 40 days with fasting lasting as much as 6:00am to 12:00, 03:00, or 06:00pm.

 

2. Choose the one that will be convinient for you. The most important thing here is consistency and total commitment to do it well and to the glory of God.

3. Make sure that you are not doing it to please any man or under duress or compulsion or as a ritual.

4. Read the bible as much as you can not as a literature but with some level of reflection.

5. Try to go through this reflection daily as it will help in your spiritual growth. And God helping me I will be dropping some prayer point as well.

6. Pray the prayer points and don't just read them please.

It is my earnest desire that we continue to grow in the Lord until we all grow to full maturity in Christ.

*PRAYER POINTS FOR OUR PROGRAMME TO START THE YEAR*

1. My father, as I begin to pray empower me to have the right word for any situation in this year in the name of Jesus.

2. My father as i pray let lines for for me in pleasant places in Jesus name.

3. Lord, as i pray cancel every negative word that i have spoken that is affecting my life in the name of Jesus.

4. Lord, may i operate under open heaven always in this year in the name of Jesus.

5. Father, let no evil or negative word fired into my life in this year find expression in my life and destiny and may all of them backfire in Jesus name Amen.
