Having clarified that the gift is for "whosoever" Jesus went further to make it clear that the gift was a channel that is to say that the gift was given for the salvation of all. What a great gift because it means that without this gift there will won't be anything like salvation.

Jesus said "through" Him which means that the gift is a channel without which nothing can be achieved or obtained and without which nothing can proceed to the next level.

This gift according to Jesus is a connector that connects divinity to humanity, it is the chanel through which divinity can have an intercourse with humanity It is a pull that heaven is using to pull people out of bondage to Himself 

Through him means that what was broken has now been amended and a channel of communication has been opened and so we should allow the low to pass to us and as it passes to us it follows too that we should allow it to flow through us to others

If it has to be through him it follows that it has one end the the end is God so when you pass through the gift you end up in God. Through means that it is flowing and it can flow to any direction but it has one end meaning that when it flows to you it will direct you to it's source which is God.
