*YOU BELONG TO A KINGDOM*

*Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God*.
*John.3.5*

Jesus told Mr Nicodemus that there is kingdom which he Mr Nicodemus belong to but that he cannot enter accept he be born again and for Jesus to tell him about that kingdom it means that Jesus wants him to claim what is rightly his but he needs to know how to enter it and to know about the kingdom.

One thing is to belong to a place and another thing is to know the place and no matter how much you know about the place if you don't have the access code or the key to the door to the place you may not enter at the end of the day and for someone to come to tell tell you about the place it means that the person loves you and that the person knows what you don't know.

Now Jesus did not just come to tell us about the place but he came also to show us how to get to the place and so He told Mr Nicodemus and by extension you and i that the key to the place is simple, "born again" that if we can get baptism that we can enter the place but without baptism the access will be denied no matter how influencial or rich we are.

Now talking about a kingdom Jesus told us that there is a kingdom and that the kingdom is of God in other words God is the owner of the kingdom. A kingdom is a "kings domain" and so if we are to enter the domain where God is king we need to be purified through baptism because the king of the domain is pure and He expects everyone of us coming to His domain to be pure.
*But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “be holy, for I am holy*.” *1Pet 1:15-16*.

It is not just enough to know the access code or o have the key to the kingdom we must start practicing the kind of life that is lived in that kingdom here so that when we get there we will fit into the system of the kingdom for instance stealing is not heard of there not to talk of practicing it so if you are a thief and have not abandoned that character you not be there because you will never have the opportunity to steal thereby making the place unfit for you same goes for fornication, adultery, murder and other voices.
