Today i want us to take another look at water in the economy of salvation, the people of God were held in bondage in Egypt for four hundred and thirty years because of the errors of their fathers(the sins of their fathers) though they were supposed to be in exile for only four hundred years but the devil added to them extra thirty years until a day came and God rose to save his people.

Permit me to state it here that the whole idea of been born again is the sole intention of God which is born out of his love for us to save us from sin and the consequences of sin, the bible made us o understand that all of us have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God and for that glory to be restored we need to be reborn so that we can be as pure as God wants us to be.

So when God decided to save His people from the slavery of sin in Egypt he sent a man called Moses and the only way to get to the promised land was through water, to the Israelites it was impossible to pass through the water but no plan of God can be frustrated even in the midst of the mighty water God has to make a way for them through the sea not river or ocean but see.

What happened when they passed through the water was a symbolism of what baptism does to us, baptism clears your past and gives you the opportunity to start afresh, baptism swallows whatever that has kept you in your former state so that you can have a new beginning. Baptism separates you from you past so that you past and your present will never meet again.

Baptism is the vehicle we use to get to our promised land and where is our promised land you may ask and i will tell you that our promised land is to live in God and God in us, our promised land is we leaving in God and having God as our all in all. Baptism is fussing ourselves into God so that God can be the supplier of all that we need in life and in destiny 
*For in him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring*.’ *Acts 17:28*.

I pray for you and with you that God will separate you from whatever and whomever that needs o be separated from you by the power in the name of Jesus
