*LOVE SO EXPENSIVE*

*For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life*. 
*John.3.16* 

Having told Mr Nicodemus and by extension you and i why God told us that we should to be born again Jesus then went ahead to tell Mr Nicodemus why God did what He did and He called it Love and this kind of love is not the kind of love that we profess where we love today and hate tomorrow where we love only when it is convenient or only when we have nothing to loose and all to gain.

Wait a minute! Having told us that it takes to be born again to enter the kingdom of God why did God have to go all out again to give us not one of his sons but His one and only begotten son. What has giving us His son have to do with us gaining salvation? Wouldn't He have said you are all saved and it will be so?

Irrespective of the fact that we don't love God, irrespective of the fact that God is not owning us anything and irrespective of the fact that we don't deserve this kind of love, God has to do it anyway, which continues to make man wonder why God should go that length for man that does not know what it means to love.

Let me state it here that God does not love us because we love him or because he must love us but God loved us because it is his very nature and he understands what it means to love and let me say that it is that dimension of God that is still keeping man till today.

And bro John here tells us that God so loved the world that He gave meaning that God loves everybody and everything as long as that thing exists on this planet earth or in this world, God loves them but you need to know and embrace this love before you can begin to experience it in its fullness.
