*GOD LOVED US WITHOUT ASKING OF ANYTHING FROM US*

*For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life*. 
*John.3.16* 

Jesus started this verse by telling Mr Nicodemus how much God loved you and i, He told him that "for God so loved the world" meaning that the love is so massive that God did not wait for man to love Him first or wait for what man will bring to the table before loving him, He told him that the love that God has for man is so unquantifiable.

This kind of love is not such that man can pay for or reciprocate because it is so deep, from the dept of God's heart, it is not what man deserve and this love is so pronounced that no man can ever deny it for instance the kingdom of God that we are talking about is a place that God Himself has already prepared for man. No effort or contribution of man was required to do what was done.

This was done not because God has much need for man but much love for man and all these was done to show man how much God wants him to be with Him, God is a God of relationship and He knows that the relationship can only be possible if He choose to love man the way He did.

For man to merit or attain salvation it has to do with the love of God if not what can man do to merit this kind of love that is of God? How would have man been able to please God to be able to merit this kind of love that God showed man?

Let me conclude by saying that this kind of love accepts us the way He met us and choose not to leave us the way He met us, He identifies with us irrespective of our flaws and all, no consideration was attached to it, this kind of love gives us self worth and value, it makes us to know that God is interested in us and in our welfare,and that God is ready to do anything to support us through thick and thin until we finally make it to His Kingdom.
