*SEEK UNDERSTANDING*

*Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born*?”
*Jn 3:3-4*

Having praised Jesus for what he did and having told him that they know that God was with Him i was expecting Jesus to be excited and be proud of Himself of what he was told but he did not do that instead he went straight to tell Mr Nicodemus what he must do to be saved.

Jesus was not interested in Mr Nicodemus praise but interested in the salvation of the soul of Mr Nicodemus. I was expecting Jesus to say "well i discussed with God in my room just now and i know what he told me" he did not do that instead he went ahead to tell him what he must do to be saved.

Having told him that man must be born again Mr Nicodemus did not leave in anger because he was already an elderly man and as a scholar he has never heard that a man is born twice so he would have taught that Jesus wanted to make a mockery of him for coming to him and leave but he did not do that but choose to be clarified.

The bible told us that wisdom is the principal thing not the Vice principal and went ahead to tell us that after we have gotten wisdom that we should go for understanding, so in the wisdom of Mr Nicodemus he needed to understand what he was told i believe that he was not just a teacher of the law but also one that practises it.

One thing that i have come to discover in life is that the simple in life ask questions to learn while the proud in heart ask to embarrass the speaker, or to win because they love to turn everything to argument or they argue so as to put the speaker in the wrong thereby becoming more foolish in their wisdom.

I pray for you and with you that whatsoever that has been send to attack your fruit will end up disappointed because they will never succeed by the power in the name of Jesus.
