OPEN MINDEDNESS*.

*There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him*." 
*John.3.1 -2*

There is nothing like been open minded whenever you want to find out the truth, whenever your mind is open and you are sincere to yourself God will definitely help you by sending men your way that will be of help to you in finding the truth. Mr Nicodemus was so open minded that he had to seek the truth and he eventually found it.

While other Pharisee were seeking to destroy Jesus by condemning Him before others here is a man seeking him to find out the truth, as a teacher of the law Mr Nicodemus would have like others confronted Jesus on His teaching that are not in line with what they were teaching but no, he choose rather to find out the truth.

What does it mean to be open minded? To open-minded simply means to have a mind that is receptive, teachable, and willing to consider truth without immediate defense or shutdown. It is when you humble yourself to learn from others without feeling superior or claiming to have known it all.

Life they say is a teacher such that the more we live the more we learn but so many have lost that sense of learning because they fell that they have known it all such that even when they are in error or when they make mistakes they fail to accept the fact that they have made a mistake or that they are wrong whenever they are.

To be open minded is not to accept everything hook line and sinker, It is not believing everything for believing sake to avoid criticism, it is not about been convinced by any line thrown at you or having personal understanding of the subject matter it is not about not having no convictions, but it is about not being closed off to truth when it comes or when you see one.

I pray for you and with you that no matter what you passed through in the first half of the year that affliction will not rise again a second time in your life and family by the power in the name of Jesus.
