*GREATNESS IS ABOUT WHAT YOU DO IN SECRET*.

*There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him*." 
*John.3.1 -2*

Remember that we said that Mr Nicodemus was a humble man and we looked at why we said so but he said something more humbling that i want us to take a look at today and that is what he said when he came to Jesus Mr Nicodemus called Him "Rabbi" he knew Jesus very well that he choose to work for him in secret and the truth is that the greatness of any man is on what he does in secret.

For a man of that caliber and status to call Jesus Rabbi made me to begin to question myself about what Mr Nicodemus saw that made him not to only come to Jesus but to go all out to call him Rabbi, that is a sign of respect and recognition of the authority of the person of Jesus.

For a teacher of the law to recognize somebody as Rabbi it means that he was convinced beyond reasonable doubt that Jesus actually came from God and he said this with proof because he was the one that told Jesus that he has proves to substantiate what he was saying

Calling Jesus a Rabbi was not an issue but it became an issue coming from such a man and after seriously scrutinising the person of Jesus. In their days to call somebody a rabbi means that you recognise the teaching authority of that person and that that person has what it takes to be trusted with matters that matter separately of faith.

To call Jesus a Rabbi means that Jesus is not just a teacher but a spiritual head and one that has what it takes to have disciples in other words he was saying that he was ready to be Jesus disciple no wonder he followed Jesus to death and even when Jesus died and other disciples ran away Mr Nicodemus stood to demand for the body of Jesus and to bury him.

I pray for you and with you that you will not labour for others to harvest but that you will live to enjoy the fruit of your labour by the power in the name of Jesus.
