*CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME*.

*There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him*." 
*John.3.1 -2*

We looked at the meaning of the name Nicodemus and we found out what his name is or rather the meaning of his name and we saw how his name influenced his actions and today we will continue to critically examine Mr Nicodemus because he and his team also examined Jesus.

Having conquered himself Mr Nicodemus has left us an example to follow that we took need to conquer ourselves not minding our positions in the society or in the church, he taught us that we cannot conquer the world if we cannot conquer ourselves as charity they say begins at home.

One can only be a true victor of the people if he or she surrenders to the ultimate victor which is Christ. Remember that he has told us that in the world that we will have trouble but he also told us to be of good cheer for he has conquered the world meaning that He has conquered what we would have conquered which means that we have nothing more to conquer but to submit to the conqueror by conquering ourselves.
*These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world*." *John.16.33* 

Today each and everyone of us talks about being born again these are some of the things that we got from Mr Nicodemus, he came to Jesus and they had an extensive discussion and from there we were told on what it takes to be born again that is how he changed from been a conqueror of the people to a winner of the people to God. He was no longer conquering the people for dominion but he was conquering them for God.

In life our names carries weight that is why it has a way of reflecting in our character and our nature, Your name has the capacity to describe where you started from but it takes only God to decides where you end that is why any encounter with Jesus does not return you to where you were but transforms you into where and what He wants you to be.

I pray for you and with you that whatever that looks like sickness around you or in your body dies now by the power in the name of Jesus.
