*BE HUMBLE*.

*Thank God it is Sunday so continue to be blessed*

*There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him*." 
*John.3.1 -2*

I may not be able to grasp the full reason why bro John choose to begin this particular verse with the introduction of Mr Nicodemus, I would have loved to call him Mr Nico for short but let us keep that one aside and concentrate on the subject matter, for a man of that caliber to go in search of Jesus am sure that there was something that he must have seen and know that was not normal.

But, that not withstanding the effort that he made in search of Jesus if not for any other thing but to know Jesus personally and what was behind the exploits that He was commanding was commendable and the desire to know one or two things from him tells me that Mr Nicodemus was a man of deep humility, you and i know that the message of the kingdom does not make sense to a proud man or woman.
*Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls*. *Jas.1.21*.

I know that you will agree with me that it takes a humble heart to be teachable, you can't teach a proud man anything instead he will argue more even out of his foolishness and at the same time try to win the argument even when it makes him more foolish. If you read further, you will agree with me that this man did come for something better and not to argue to win judging from their discussion.
*Give instruction to a wise man and he will be yet wiser; teach a righteous man (one upright and in right standing with God) and he will increase in learning*. *Prov.9.9* 

Wisdom separated Mr Nicodemus and others, if you watch his statement clearly you will see where he was telling Jesus that "we know" which means that they were many that took time to study the personality of Jesus but others stopped at knowing but he went ahead to find out and like our bro Mr Peter Obi will say "he went to verify"

Mr Nicodemus was a man that has the gift of discernment hence he was able to distinguish between what is good and what is bad,b he was able to to see clearly, to distinguish between things that look similar, to judge with God’s wisdom instead of just feelings or surface facts.or hear say, he went deeper.

I pray for you and with you that whatever that stopped you in the first half of the year will never again see you to stop you again in this second half by the power in the name of Jesus.
