*TO FAIL TO PREPARE IS A PREPARATION TO FAIL*

* Were you privileged to be in His presence to receive the present that He had for you?*

*But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened*.
*Luke.24.21*.

Can you imagine that they were hoping on what they should not hope on such that when what they were supposed to hope on began to dawn on them they began to run because it wasn't because Jesus didn't teach them or inform them about it but their hoping on something else instead of listening to what will better their lives by building their faith.

Jesus has told them that if they destroy His body that he will raise it up on the third day, He even told them that nobody can kill Him but that he will lay his life down because he will take it up again but they didn't hear because they were hoping on what they choose to hope on.
*Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up*." *John.2.19*.
*No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father*." *John.10.18* 

The bible made us to understand that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God for me faith will not come without hearing and hearing by the word of God so if faith comes by a process and that process is bypassed then don't expect to see faith.
*So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God*. *Rom.10.17* 

Faith bro Paul says can only come by hearing and i will ask, "how do you hear when you have made up your mind on hoping on something else? In as much as all they were hoping for was the redemption of Israel all that Jesus was teaching was not making sense to them because all that they fixed their mind on was the redemption of Israel.

You can see why the resurrection of Jesus took them by surprise? Because they were not prepared for it and you and i know that to fail to prepare is already a preparation to fail hence they failed in faith and in their calling as disciples and messenger of the good of the resurrection.

I pray for you and with you that in blessings you will be blessed and be numbered among the blessed by the power in the name of Jesus.
