We saw the other day according to bro Paul that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God which means that for you to have faith you must subject yourself to the word of God, you must discipline yourself to be a very good student of the word.

If you don't sit down to hear the word of God and you know that faith comes by hearing it means that you are not ready to have faith because if faith comes by hearing it also means that faith also goes by hearing but this time not by the word of God but that of the devil.

Nature does not allow vacuum that is why when you allow vacuum it must be filled with something else and most cases the opposite of what you allowed to go for instance when you allow virtue to go then get ready for vice and when you allow faith to go the opposite which is fear comes in.

Did you see why they were filled with fear and decided to run away? They lost their faith by loosing the opportunity to have it by hoping on what will not add to their faith, they gradually lost their faith even while they were with Jesus still and eventually fear took over and they had it to the full and became fearful.

Fear will always tell you to run even when nobody is pursuing you, fear will tell you that it will not work even when you can make it work, fear will tell you that God has abandoned you even when it is clear that He is the reason why you are alive in the first place and fear will tell you not to trust in God because according to it God even if will come will not come at the expected time so when you are not faithful you will be fearful and when you are fearful nothing makes sense to you
