They had hidden themselves for three days because as far as they were concerned they hope had gone, the man they followed for three years with the hope that he will empower them to reign has died though he told them that he will rise again but the manner with which he died did not in anyway show that he can make it.

After hiding for three days without the disturbance of those that killed their master some women are now trying to invite them by telling them that the man they killed like a lamb that was led to the slaughter is risen. Wait a minute, by the time these soldiers come demanding for the man they claim has risen what are they going to tell them? I mean soldiers not police.

Cleopas thinking that he was being smart and was making the right decision for that particular point in time decided to run away but my problem with him is why will he run with another man? Why not go alone?

Some people has a way of influencing people negatively, he waited till evening so that nobody will think that they are running away or traveling, he made it look like a simple strolling but crossing boundaries knowing full well that nobody will notice but Jesus noticed.

How do you influence the people around you? Do you influence them positively or negatively? And you that is under the influence of another what kind of influence are you subscribing to? Do you think that the influencer will be held accountable for your actions?

*LET US PRAY*🙏 🙏 🙏 
I pray for you and with you that anyone that is going about spoiling your good work will never succeed in that endeavor by the power in the name of Jesus.
