*A WASTED OPPORTUNITY*

*Your eyes will see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living*

*And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it*.
*Matt.28.2* 

We saw that the soldiers said what they were told to say not what they saw and from the little that slipped out of their mouth bro Mathew was able to capture the fact that there was a great earthquake that night and Angels were there from heaven to give honour to whom honour is due.

Can you imagine how the story would have been had the people that saw it with their eyes were to tell the story? Can you imagine the lots of souls that would have been saved by the story? Can you imagine how we would have been celebrating these men had they told us what they saw. They would have been the first messages of the resurrection not Mary Magdalene.

I can imagine the kind of light that heralded the coming of the Angels, the earthquake that made no noise, the serenity with which the anointed one rose and how glorious it was when the prince of peach was rising, the role of Angels and the power play between the Lord and powers that insisted that must not rise.

If they had seen angels descending i believe that they were or that they would have been privileged to see the devil and his angels weeping for loosing a battle that they taught that they has won and sis everything to win. They would have seen Angels descending and ascending like Jacob.

I weep for that wasted opportunity, opportunity to write their names in gold. Opportunity to write their names in the bible, opportunity to be celebrated every year, opportunity to go to heaven cheaply, opportunity to ask whatever you want and have it granted instantly but all was lost due to bribery. These men must have been from somewhere you and i know very well in Africa.

As we continue to blame them we must not forget to ask ourselves one simple question, would we have done it differently if we were to be those in authority or those soldiers? Reason am!!!

I pray for you and with you that opportunity will meet preparedness in your life by the power in the name of Jesus.
