*Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying: "Hosanna to the Son of David! "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!' Hosanna in the highest*!" 
*Matt.21.9*

Today we shout hosanna (join the multitudes)and tomorrow we will still shout crucify Him(because we don't want to stand out)

Today we promise to die for and with Jesus( to follow him without compromising as long as our following Him is convenient for us) but tomorrow we will deny Him three times even before the cock crows.

Today we will shout hosanna and tomorrow we will prefer Barrabas(when we see opportunity to cheat, steal and engage in corruption)

Today we follow Jesus into Jerusalem(when things are ok with us) but tomorrow(whenever there is trial) we will abandon Him.

Today we lay our cloaks on the floor for Him to match on(humility) but at the slightest provocation we will go to any length to revenge even to kill.

There are also those who are jealous that God is worshipped and will to go any length to make sure that such are discouraged

Where do you we stand? Mercy is not a license to sin but a commission to go and sin *NO MORE*
*What shall we say [to all this]? Are we to remain in sin in order that God 's grace (favor and mercy) may multiply and overflow? Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer*? *Rom.6.1 -2*

I pray for you and with you that God will give us the grace of consistency in following Him come rain come shine by the power in the name of Jesus.
