*Another beautiful Tuesday for your blessings to be full, do enjoy the fullness of God's blessings*

*He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God*.
*Jn 1:10-13*.

Do you remember the story of bro Joseph when he was sent by his father to take food to his brothers? Look at the sufferings that he went through on the way before he was able to find his brothers where they were taking care of the sheep. He came to his own and instead of his brothers to appreciate his efforts and his kindness they plotted to kill him instead and ended up in selling him for coming to their aid.

Many of us read that passage of the scripture and blame the brothers of Joseph till tomorrow but come to think of it are we not doing worse than the brothers of Joseph? Jesus left all that He is as God, took the form of a man just to save us yet bro John is saying that "He came to His own(you and i) and His own did not receive Him"

Did you receive Him? How did you receive Him? How did you know that you have received Him? Can you say that you have received Him when you are still living in sin? What are you doing to show that you have received Him. Is it not painful that of all people that it is His own that did not receive Him?

His own(you and i) did not receive Him because we are too familiar with Him, we are used to his miracles, we go to church on Sunday and we are even the reason why the church is progressing because we are the people that makes the contributions, we are even waiting for the day that the man of God will insult us so that we can switch to another church where our givings can be appreciated.

Over familiarity has caused many of us the rejection of whom we are supposed to receive and embrace with all our hands wide open. Over familiarity made the people of Jesus town not to be blessed the way others were blessed because they were seeing the son of a carpenter while others were seeing a Messiah.

*LET US PRAY* 🙏🙏🙏
I pray for you and with you that wherever we have been victims of the bite of the fiery serpent that God will have mercy on us and heal us by the power in the name of Jesus.
