*HAVE YOU RECEIVED JESUS PT4*

*Thank God it is Friday, God will give you rest on all sides in Jesus name*

*He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God*.
*Jn 1:10-13*.

One thing that characterises the life of the recipients of any blessing is that most times they want to tell you how to bless them or what to bless them with or set a standard for you on how to bless them. They always have a mindset of what they want you to do for them, how they want you to do it and when they want you to do it.

The people of Jesus time and family knew that the Christ will come from the line of David and their expectations was that the Christ must be like David. A fighter and a warrior so their mind was set on seeing a Christ that is a warrior not a carpenter's son.

They were looking for a kingly and royal Christ not a gentle Christ that would be the son of a common carpenter so because of their mindset they could not trace Jesus to David anymore, they forgot that Joseph was from the line of David.
*Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem, where David was?*" *John.7.42* 
*Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David*. *Luke.2.4* 

They were good bible scholars and they know that the kind of king that God promised them was one that was ridding on a colt not one in a horse but their mindset was set on having it the way the world has it and so they refuse to accept the gift that was given to them.
"*Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey*. *Zech.9.9* 

*LET US PRAY* 🙏🙏🙏
I pray for you and with you that just as the hand of God was upon Elijah and he outran the chariots of Ahaz so shall the hand of God be upon you to give you speed in all your life pursuit by the power in the name of Jesus

It is said that it is only great fools that are not grateful and as one that is not a great fool i want to use this medium on behalf myself, family, parents and students of Amazing Grace Schools and the good people of Ika nation use this medium and many more to say a big thank you to Dr Donald Petersen the chairman and chief executive officer of D- Peterson foundation and the entire members of D- Peterson foundation for their giants feats in Ika nation.
