*DO YOU KNOW JESUS? PT11*

*He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God*.
*Jn 1:10-13*.

If you were to be Bartimaeus, the son of a nobody and a road side common blind begger and people asked you to keep quiet that Jesus was passing with VIPs and great and big men of God and that He will have no time for you would you have shouted even louder? Tell me the truth!!!

He was looked down on, the people may have threatened him that if he shouts more that they will not help him again and even the ones that brought him to the road side would have threatened not to take him home if he shouts more because he was embarrassing them but he choose to shout louder anyway.

Your knowledge of the person of Jesus will always show by how far you can go because of Jesus, by how far you can ignore the voice of the devil and follow Jesus all through. Let me bring it home so that you and i can have a better understanding of what we are saying.

There was a man that met Jesus on the way and Jesus from that encounter gave him an assignment and to the best of our knowledge he was if not the first or best but almost the best amongst equals and he was doing exploits for the kingdom but a time came that he told God that he wanted to know him more and to experience the power of his resurrection.
*That I may know Him and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death*, *Phil 3:10*.

Is bro Paul mocking you and I? What is there or what is left for him to know about God that he has not known? After many years of walking with God what else does he wants to know? The more you know God the more you want to know Him. To know God is a continuous exercise and in all what you will ever know will be just a scratch of who God is.

*LET US PRAY* 🙏🙏🙏
I pray for you and with you that God will grant you that grace to know Him more and more and may God establish a fellowship with you by the power in the name of Jesus.
