*DO YOU KNOW JESUS? PT10*

*He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God*.
*Jn 1:10-13*.

We have seen how a woman from a disadvantageous position of life moved to an advantageous position due to her knowledge of the person of Jesus meaning that to know God is not gender based or gender friendly. You don't know God because you are a man and nothing stops you from knowing God because you are a woman.

Today i want us to explore more on this so that we can continue to grow in the knowledge and love of and for God. There was a man that was born blind and the people refused to know his name but calls him the son of his father maybe because his father also suffered the same fate but this man refused to allow his background to keep his back on the ground.

Am talking of a man called Bartimaeus, he was a blind begger that heard that Jesus was passing and instead of shouting Jesus of Nazareth with which He was known, this bling man choose to call Him the son of David. Can you imagine? When everybody was calling him a Nazarite this blind man was calling Him the son of David.
*And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, "Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me!*" *Mk 10:48*.

He heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth but he choose to shout "son of David" he refused to go with public opinion and public perception of the person of Jesus rather he choose to go deep into the ancestry of Jesus to tell Jesus how much he had known Him and when Jesus heard that he Could not pass him by because He knew that this one knows Him even to His home and ancestors.

He knew that God has promised a Messiah through David and if what he has read is anything to go by, that Messiah must be this man that is passing by and he refused to allow the Messiah to pass him by hence even when the voice of opposition and critics seem to be louder he refused to allow them to stop him.

*LET US PRAY* 🙏🙏🙏
I pray for you and with you that in your quest to succeed in life that no voice of opposition will be able to stop you by the power in the name of Jesus.
