**JESUS IS THE SOURCE OF LIFE PT6*

*In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it*. 
*John.1.4-5*.

We have seen that the "of" in our opening scripture speaks of being from and being part of the Word which fortunately also is the light of men and we said that the bad news is that upon all that God did for man through the Word those who are supposed to accept and celebrate Him are the very ones that rejected Him what an irony.

The bible went further to tell us why his very own rejected Him, we were told that it was because their deeds where evil, the reason here is that people run away from the Word(Jesus) for a reason which is supposed to be the very reason why they should come to Him(Jesus) who has come to redeem them from sin.

Taking us back for a while to the book of Genesis you will see that Adam ran away from God because he disobeyed God and here we have Jesus coming to redeem us from the fall of Adam and the people that He has come to redeem still refused to accept that redemption.
*He came to that which belonged to Him [to His own - His domain, creation, things, world], and they who were His own did not receive Him and did not welcome Him*. *John.1.11* 

Now having been rejected by His very own he then extended the salvation to those of us who were once far from salvation but unfortunately some of us too have chosen the old and ungodly path of rejecting Him but for all of us that choose to welcome and worship Him he then gave us a gift that nothing can buy.
*But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name* . *John.1.12* 

I would have said thank God that they rejected Him hence the salvation coming to the gentiles but the truth of the matter is whether they had rejected him or not i know that God has plans for you and i in the economy of salvation because He is a loving father that never forgets His own.

*LET US PRAY* 🙏🙏🙏
I pray for you and with you that no man or woman will cut your life short and that the number of your days you will fulfill by the power in the name of Jesus.
