**JESUS IS THE SOURCE OF LIFE PT5*

*In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it*. *John.1.4-5*.

Bro John has told us that this light is the light "of" men, this "of" used here indicates many things, first of all it means that we are "of" the word meaning that we belong to the word, we have seen that we are from the word so this "of" emphasiaes that the more.

Apart from the fact that we are "of" God which we have seen as in coming from God the "of" is also an indication of the fact that we are inseparable from the Word but many of us have decided to separate ourselves from the Word due to one or two things.

Let me say this very quickly before i proceed, this "of" here means that we are from God, we are for God and we are supposed to return to Him. I deliberately choose the word supposed because many have chosen to separate themselves from their source.

This "of" speaks of light and you and i know that nothing will ever exist without light, the green plants that manufacture their food which in turn serve man's need get their food from the light which means that this "of" essentially is not just a source but a sustainer as well.

On a more serious note the bible made us to understand that in all these that this light came to His own and instead of his own to welcome and embrace him they rejected Him repeating the mistake that this light came to correct.
*He came to that which belonged to Him [to His own - His domain, creation, things, world], and they who were His own did not receive Him and did not welcome Him*. *John.1.11*.

Beloved i pray for you and with you that you will never reject that what is meant to a blessing to you either by mistake or by design by the power in the name of Jesus.
