*JESUS IS THE SOURCE OF LIFE PT3*

*In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it*. *John.1.4-5*.

The first life that was given to man at creation was corrupted by man when the devil tempted him through Eve and the life that was supposed to be eternal lost that glory and now has to die due to sin but afterwards God choose to redeem man but this time a new life has to be given to man in place of the old one.
*In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return*." *Gen 3:19*.

Man was not originally created to die because he was having the "God kind of life" but due to sin he lost it. Originally man was created to be with God because he was to be the mirror (image) with which God will see Himself but when he fell he lost all that glory.

Fast forward, when God decided to save man he then decided to replace the old kind of life with a new kind of life that is Christ Jesus hence Jesus has to come not just to die for our sins so that we can have opportunity to be with God again but to replace the old kind of life with His own kind of life.

This is the reason St John is telling you and i that the only way to get this new life is to get it from Jesus hence he told us that "in Him is life" and went ahead to tell us that this life is the light of men meaning that we need this light to see our salvation.

Beloved i pray for you and with you that the doors of prosperity be opened now and always to you by the power in the name of Jesus.
