DAY 36

*IN THE BEGINNING PT31*

*In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made*.

*John.1.1-3* 

St Paul was making us to understand that apart from doubts that there are others things that makes our word not to come to pass and he called one of them imagination. Imaginations simply means what we creat in our mind that affects us either positively or negatively.

Apart from imagination he went further to tell us that there are certain things that tends to stand against the word of God. He told us that these things exalts themselves against the word of God and said that that these are high things now what are these high things and where so they some from? They like imagination are right inside us.

One of these is the arguments that tends to come up from us, by this i means our ability to analyze things and try to see the possibility of what we are analysing, let us take a look at what am trying to say.

*So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, "Look, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?" And he said, "In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it*." *2Kgs.7.2* 

Elisha was telling the people about what God said that He will do and somebody argued that it is not possible, come to think of it how can they be food just tomorrow when there was no harvest or crops to harvest anywhere? How can they be good tomorrow when women have started eating up their children due to scarcity of food?

To worsen it all he even told them that the food will be available at the gate of Samaria, they were hungry which means that they may likely have no strength for war so how can they get food from the gates of their enemies that has conquered them and put them in that condition?

You see! Logically he was right according to human reasoning but on the other hand he was wrong, it is like Jesus telling you and i that we can speak to mountains and that they will obey us. The argument will now be how and when did that one start? God does not work with logic but power.

*And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God*. *1Cor 2:4-5*.

*PRAYER POINTS FOR TODAY*

(Please pray it and not just read them)

1 Lord, as i begin to pray i repent of any sin that is capable of stopping my blessings this year in Jesus name.

2 Lord, as i begin to pray My let whatever that i have done that is capable is taking away your blessings from me be cancelled in Jesus name.

3 Lord, if I am the cause of my problem father show me mercy and return me to my place of blessings in the name of Jesus.

4 Lord, i pray that You anoint my lips so that every word that proceed from my mouth will go forth and produce good fruits for me in this year, in Jesus' name.

5 Lord, as i begin to pray I pray that You grant me the grace to excel and be the best in my generation in this year in Jesus' name.
