*And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation*." 
*Acts 2:40*.

By way of conclusion we want to summarise this topic "you are not save until you are saved" so relax and enjoy what bro Peter told us in this verse. He startes by telling us that with many other words he testified and exhausted them.

He started by saying "and" that and there stands for addition in other words what he was saying is that he has already told them so many other things that has to do with their salvation which he feels that it is necessary that they should know and having told them that he went ahead to add to it.

The verse started with "and" which means that anything said in this verse is just an addendum to what has already been said and one of the many things that he has already said is that we must be baptised and be reconciled to God.

It does not end with baptism and reconnection to God. No sir you have to do more which is that we must make efforts to be saved from this perversed generation and we said that if that generation can be called perversed what of our own generation?

We are concluding now by telling ourselves that we are not saved until we are saved. Until we make efforts not to be part of the evils of this generation until we make up our minds not to use religion to cover up evil but to live righteously 

In all let us not loose sight of the fact that we are not save until we are saved and the best time to do that was yesterday and the only second chance that we have to do is again is now. Let us make hay while the sun shines.
