*And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation*." 
*Acts 2:40*.

If you take time to look at what bro Peter said here, you will notice that he did not say God will save you from this perversed generation or that God will send you helpers rather he said "be saved"

Be saved here means that your salvation is in your hands, you either choose to be saved or not to be saved, what you are to be saved from has been given to you so the choice of whether to be saved or not is now in your hands.

The first stage of this salvation is that you have to come to terms with bro Peter. You must first of all believe or know that you need this salvation because until you come to realize that you need this salvation you may not do anything about it.

Secondly since you know what to be saved from you have to make efforts to be saved from it. Your efforts may include praying to God to help you but the truth of the matter is that until you take responsibility nothing will work.

You must know that it is achievable, when you work with the mindset that it cannot be achieved you can easily be discouraged by anything that may come your way and you may not pursue it with all the seriousness that it deserves.

I pray for you and with you that in this season and beyond that the good Lord will cause you to flourish in that you do by the power in the name of Jesus.
