*And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation*."

You will agree with me that the list of what makes this generation perversed cannot be exhausted such that the more we see the more we will continue to see to this effect we will try to round off today so as to have time to look at other things.

The perverseness of this generation can also be seen in our lack of empathy. We care less about what happens to the next person or what they go through because of our actions and inactions. Today we cannot drive on a good road because somebody somewhere has decided to pocket the money.

Today everybody wants to be a pastor and nobody cares to learn, we claim that we know it all and so we refuse to take corrections where and when necessary.and those that knows one or two end up in using it to exploit others.

The list of what makes this generation perversed is endless raging from corruption to nepotism, religious conflicts here and there, lack of sin consciousness, idolatry in modern forms and kinds, self aggradicement, pride and arrogance to mention but a few.

To all these both mentioned and not mentioned bro Peter is telling you and i not to be part of. He advises you and i to go out there and make a difference bearing in mind the words of Christ Himself "let your light shine that people may see and give glory to God"
*Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven*. *Matt.5.16*.

If we don't separate from them their darkness may cover our light, it will be like lighting a light and putting it under a bushel but if we choose to separate ourselves from them then our light will shine and for that to happen we must try to stand out so that we can be outstanding.

I pray for you and with you that the glory of God will be upon you for you to make a difference in all the areas of your life by the power in the name of Jesus.
