*YOU ARE NOT SAVE UNTIL YOU ARE SAVED PT2

*And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation*." 
*Acts 2:40*.

When bro Peter told us to be saved he did not end there but went ahead to tell us what we are to be saved from. It is more or less like giving you a problem and solution to the problem so that failure do the needful will not be held on him but on the person that refused to do the needful.

Now let us see what it means to be "perversed" because that is what he said we should be saved from so that we can look at what and what to do to be able to be saved according to bro Peter. To be perversed is to deliberately and obstinately deviate from what is morally right and acceptable.

To be perversed actually is to turn away from God's commandments and truth. To be perversed here simply means you saying that you don't need God that you are self sufficient forgetting that when you reject your source that you will lack resources.

It is or It involves the willful rejection of God's authority over ones life and all that has to do with the individual. Rejecting to live according to God's command which in biblical context is known as hardening of the heart 

In simpler terms to be perversed means rejecting God and all that has to do with God which is more evident in the serving of idols, it means you choosing another god in place of God. Did i hear you say "God forbid" indeed God will forbid if and only if you and i make Jesus the Lord and master of our lives.

I pray with you that the souls of all the faithful departed especially our relatives will find a place in Abraham blossom and rest in peace by the power in the name of Jesus.
