*CONTINUE STEADFASTLY IN THE LORD*

*And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers*. 
*Acts 2:42* .

Can you see why the bible told us that the people that believed and were baptised were added and why we were led to know that their being added was not about number but about their contribution to the growth and development of the church and for the salvation of souls.

Now having been baptised they continued and not just continued but steadfastly in the apostles teaching and fellowship. The bible was very clear in the choice of word here. Steadfastly not anyhow or as it pleases them and their steadfastness was to "teaching and fellowship"

What does it mean to be steadfast? To be steadfast simply means to put all your effort in what you believe in so that apart from you making it work for you and through you, you will also never have any reason to retreat or surrender. To be steadfast is born out of been convinced and coming to know the truth.

To be steadfast also means to have the courage to pursue what you believe in and making sure that you follow it to its logical end. If you follow because others are following you will definitely go back when others go back but to be steadfast means that you are setting yourself up for others to look up to.

To be steadfast also means that they choose to be strong and unshakable in their new found faith, they refused to allow the mockery of those that refused to believe to shake their faith neither did they allow the troubles of life make them to doubt the existence of the God that they have come to believe in.

I pray for you and with you that today the Angels of fruitfulness will visit you like they visited our father Abraham and before this time next year you will carry your testimony by the power in the name of Jesus.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your *faith* and never loose *hope* and be fervent in *prayers* and praise knowing that *God*, your father *loves* you specially and personally and will never leave you nor forsake you.
