*CONTINUE STEADFASTLY IN THE LORD PT7*

*And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers*. 
*Acts 2:42* .

Bro Peter told us that those that were baptised continued in the apostles doctrines and fellowship and you will agree with me that to continue in this line of life is not a joke, it requires efforts and resilience, it requires a mind made up to continue otherwise many things will discourage you from continuing.

They faced the challenges that those that stopped faced but choose to continue because they realised that it can only take persistence to break resistance and so they choose to persist. They knew that even though the journey is far yet it is achievable 
They continued because they knew that quitters never wins while winners never quits. It may be hard but achievable. They continued because it takes persistence to win the race.

They continued because grace was sufficient, they choose to depend on God not on themselves, they looked up to God not man and they continued because they have a goal which is to make heaven at last.
*And He said to me, "my grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me*. *2Cor 12:9*.

They continued because their strength was not small, it takes both physical and spiritual strength to continue and to fail is a sign the one lacks such strength and they connected to the source of strength so that they will not lack the strength.
*If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small*. *Prob 24:10*..

They continued because they embraced the God that was preached to them and so they had the privilege of knowing this God fully and working with Him.
*Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits*. *Dan 11:32*.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your *faith* and never loose *hope* and be fervent in *prayers* and praise knowing that *God*, your father *loves* you specially and personally and will never leave you nor forsake you.

*MY INTEREST* is to *EXHORT* you so that God will *EXALT* you so that the devil will not *EXHAUST* you.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen!
