*CONTINUE STEADFASTLY IN THE LORD PT2*

*And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers*. 
*Acts 2:42* .

In the days of our fathers in the faith there was a song that was common in those days and the song goes like this
I have decided to follow Jesus (3)🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 no turning back, no turning back. 
Jesus before me, the world behind me (3), 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 no turning back, no turning back.

We will come back to steadfastly but before then let us take a look at what comes before the steadfast which is "continued" continues came before steadfast so let us treat it first and then come back to steadfast. Amen!!!

Though steadfast and continued are almost the same but in this context they stood for different things. To "continues" means to be making progress in whatever one is doing and in this instance in fellowship and the apostles teaching.

To "continues" means that their lives never remained the same after they have heard the word of God, to "continued" means that there was a shift from where they were to where the teaching was pointing to them. This time godliness.

To "continues" means that they exposed themselves to the effects of the gospel, they allowed the gospel to do in them whatever is good and necessary for their salvation. To "continues" means that they kept moving forward in faith without looking back.

I pray for you and with you that like Lot's wife that you will not look back where you are supposed to look forward by the power in the name of Jesus.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your *faith* and never loose *hope* and be fervent in *prayers* and praise knowing that *God*, your father *loves* you specially and personally and will never leave you nor forsake you.

*MY INTEREST* is to *EXHORT* you so that God will *EXALT* you so that the devil will not *EXHAUST* you.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again.
