*REPENT AND BE BAPTISED*

*Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit*.
*Acts 2:38*.

We have been trying to tell ourselves the simple truth that repentance is not for pagans but mainly for believers by trying to look at the word repentance in its entirety because many of those that asked bro Peter "what shall we do" are mainly religious people of their time. They were Jews.

Having seen some meaning of repentance we intend to continue to see more to enable us have a full understanding of the word repentance.

Repentance here can also be seen as the turning away from past sins or failures to do the will of God in loving God and our neighbours . This process often involves a deep regret for the errors of the past, a decision to live differently, and a willingness to make amends or change one's ways where and when necessary. 

Repentance also speaks of genuine sorrow, guilt, or contrition for past actions, attitudes, or sins let me quickly state it here that any of this without a firm resolve to change for the better amounts to nothing but self deceit. 

It must involve a conscious decision to turn away from past wrongdoings and to adopt a new course of life that aligns with righteousness and in doing the will of God. 

Repentance is the significant shift in one's thoughts and perspective, leading to a new understanding and viewpoint on past behavior. firm resolve to avoid future sins and to live in a way that is better, making amends where necessary.

As believers, repentance is the daily examination of conscience and acceptance of ones wrong doing, begging God for forgiveness and making a firm resolution never to repeat it again.

I pray for you and with you that in this month of October that you will recover every blessing that you have lost by the power in the name of Jesus.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your *faith* and never loose *hope* and be fervent in *prayers* and praise knowing that *God*, your father *loves* you specially and personally and will never leave you nor forsake you.
