*REPENT AND BE BAPTISED PT9*

*Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit*.
*Acts 2:38*.


We are still looking at what bro Peter told us that baptism does to us and having looked at some we will continue to try to see more. Talking about remission of sin which also means the removal of both the guilt and the consequences due to the sin.

Remission can also be likened to a debt that is canceled. When a sin is "remitted," it's not just forgotten; the consequences due to the sin is wiped away, and you are no longer held responsible for it by God. This brings profound freedom and a newness of life. 

Remission of sin means the complete removal or cancellation of sin through divine mercy, it frees the sinner from the sins and it's consequences that is freeing a person from the guilt and penalty of their wrongdoings.

Remission can also be or can be said to be the act of stopping the anger and resentment toward an offender, releasing them from being held accountable for the sin. Remission, on the other hand, is also the complete eradication or wiping out of the sin itself, as if it never happened. 

Remission also means that the sin has been deleted or removed entirely from one's life and record. It is also the process of changing feelings and attitudes toward an offender, overcoming negative emotions like resentment. 

I pray for you and with you that you will never be the project of enemies of progress by the power in the name of Jesus.
