*REPENT AND BE BAPTISED PT12*

*Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit*.
*Acts 2:38*.

Can you see how loving and caring our God is? Wait a minute can you compare this God to any other so called gods? I know that you are wondering by now why i have to start on this note. Here is my reason, "And you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" 

Bro Peter told us that once you have been baptised in the name of Jesus that the next thing that will happen to you is the reception of a gift from God and that gift is not a car or a house, not even a wife or a son or daughter but the person of the Holy Spirit. Can you be at that?

What bro Peter is saying here is it does not matter your status that once you make up your mind to receive baptism that God himself will surprise you with the gift of the Holy Spirit 

In other words this gift cannot be bought in any market of choice or in any super market, which means that the gift is for both the rich and the poor. Another good aspect of this gift is that it is not for a particular tribe of people or a particular set of people.

*Then Peter opened his mouth and said: "In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality, But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him*. *Acts 10:34-35*.

The gift is not for the old or the young, you don't get it by bribery or by corruption, you don't need to know a powerful man of God to get the gift or go far in other to get it. It is at the mercy of God what we all get this gift of the Holy Spirit.

The only qualification according to bro Peter is to have baptism and you and i know that baptism is an initiation into Christ which means that all you need is to subscribe to the Lordship of Christ and to turn a new leaf.

I pray for you and with you that whatever that is standing between you and your expectations and all that is fighting the manifesting of your expectations will receive a judgement of fire right now by the power in the name of Jesus
