*REPENT AND BE BAPTISED PT11*

*Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit*.
*Acts 2:38*.

Having accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and saviour which ultimately leads to accepting baptism which bro Peter told us that it is only when that has been done wholeheartedly that one can receive the Holy Spirit.

The reception of the Holy Spirit marks a significant step in the life of the believer because it signifies the indwelling of the spirit of God in the life of the believer. It means being a vessel for God to dwell in.

The reception of the Holy Spirit is not automatic hence bro Peter told us that "you shall" it follows that you may not receive Him if you are not well prepared to do so because the Holy Spirit is God. You don't receive Him for receiving sake but knowing that you are to carry what is carrying you.

That "you shall" which means that you may receive or may not receive Him which means that for you to receive Him you must know who you are receiving, you must be ready to receive him by having a deep longing for Him.

I pray for you and with you that any man or woman working hard to make sure that you don't make it in life will never live to see that dream come to pass by the power in the name of Jesus.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your *faith* and never loose *hope* and be fervent in *prayers* and praise knowing that *God*, your father *loves* you specially and personally and will never leave you nor forsake you.
