*PROMISE MADE PROMISE KEPT PT5*

*Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call*."
*Acts 2:38-39*.


Having told us that we must make efforts to transmit the promises of God to our children and having seen those that did it in the persons of Abraham, Lois, Eunice and so on and so forth and having seen some of the how's they did it let us proceed to see more so that we took can double our efforts to making sure we do the same. Amen!!!

Apart from the ones that we have seen already you will agree with me that prayer is one of the major tool that they must have employed to bring it to pass. A story was told of a woman called Monica who prayed for her son called Augustine for 25yrs and when Augustine eventually repented the full effects of her mother's prayer was found in him as he became an instrument in the hands of God for the salvation of souls. Prayers work wonders. 
"*For by strength no man shall prevail*. *1Sam 2:9B*.

It is said that what prayer cannot do more prayer will do, in other words pray until something happens. Hannah was appearing in Shiloh for years until she deliberately decided to leave everything and pray more before she saw the result. You will see the results of your prayers in Jesus name.

I know that some of us will tell me that you cannot force them that it is only those that will believe that will receive and i will ask you why they are not forced to school? It is because you know the benefits of them going to school and so you deliberately inculcated the consciousness into them so go and do the same in respect to transmitting the promise in like manner.

Apart from inculcating the consciousness of eternity into them by way of making them to see that the promise are realistic and important to their live you should also know that you are not alone in the pursuit just that you choose to avoid God. I say this because i know that God is with us and with God all things are possible.
*But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.*" *Mk 10:27*.

I pray for you and with you that the presence of God that you encounter by going through this nugget will melt every mountain within and around you by the power in the name of Jesus.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your *faith* and never loose *hope* and be fervent in *prayers* and praise knowing that *God*, your father *loves* you specially and personally and will never leave you nor forsake you.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again.
