*LORD AND CHRIST PT8*

*Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ*."
*Acts 2:36*.

We were told that two titles were given to Jesus 1. Christ and Lord and having seen what it means to be Christ which means the Messiah who will come to redeem you and i, we will now look at the second titles which is Lord.

Let me hide this truth here for the main time, do you know that Jesus having the title of Christ means that he is your redeemer? And do you know what it means to be your redeemer? This is who a redeemer is;
*Either his uncle or his uncle 's son may redeem him, or a near kinsman may redeem him; or if he has enough and is able, he may redeem himself*. *Lev.25.49*.

Did you understand what it means to be a redeemer now? For someone to redeem you He must be your own blood brother so Jesus choosing to redeem us means that He has accepted to be our brother. Yes oooooooooo He is my brother as well as your very own brother too.

Having accepted to be our brother it follows that what affects us affects Him directly not indirectly and now we can relate with Him not as somebody we don't know but as a close relative Christ on His part did not just redeem us as a relative but as a high priest so that the price of our redemption will be paid once and for all.

*For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning*. *Heb.4.15*.

I pray for you and with you that your redemption will not bring your reduction but will make grace to abound in your life for all round advancement by the power in the name of Jesus.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your *faith* and never loose *hope* and be fervent in *prayers* and praise knowing that *God*, your father *loves* you specially and personally and will never leave you nor forsake you.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again.
