*LORD AND CHRIST PT6*

*Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ*."
*Acts 2:36*.

We have actually seen that to say that Jesus was given the title of Lord and Christ is not to say that he was paid for a job He did but a sign of accomplishment of the task that he freely choose to undertake for the salvation of you and i in other words He has accomplished the work of the long awaited Messiah meaning that you don't need to wait for another 

Having been given the title of Christ it means that no other Messiah is expected so if any comes to you now and says that he is your Messiah know that such a one is a fraud because there is no more work to do and there is no reward for anyone that wants to do the work of a Messiah because the reward has been given out so everyone of us has to key to the finished work of Christ.

We took a look at what it means to be Christ and we said that to be Christ is to be the Messiah. To say that He is Christ is also saying that He is God in human form to transform man to godly form.

To say that He is the Christ means that He is the anointed one, the one that carries the mandate for the mission in question and what is the mission all about? The salvation of souls so giving Him the name now as a reward means that the mission has been accomplished.

To say that He is the Christ means that He it is that will save man from the grip of sin and it's consequences and now that He wears that as a reward means that sin has been conquered and has no power over man anymore. He has destroyed sin once and for all and has given us the power to overcome sin.

I pray for you and with you that this Ember month will be the season that you have been waiting for to prosper in Jesus name.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again.
