CUT TO THE HEART PT6

*CUT TO THE HEART PT6*
*Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do*?"
*Acts 2:36*.
We have been looking at how the word of the Lord can make one to be "cut to the heart" and we asked the writer of the letter to the Hebrews and he told us that;
*For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart*. *Heb 4:12*.
The writer of the letter to the Hebrews also told us that word of the Lord is a double edged sword. A sword protects and a sword destroys. It will protect you when you use it well and it can destroy you when you allow external influence to manipulate it.
A sword provides like in the case of hunters, when you allow the word of the Lord to dwell in you richly as advised by bro Paul you will realise that you will begin to enjoy all the blessings in it.
The word of the Lord as the double edged sword has the capacity to destroy all evil tendencies in us if and only if we allow the word to find full expression in our lives.
If we allow the word of the Lord to dwell richly in us it will bring us salvation and if we do not allow the word of the Lord to dwell in is it will expose us to condemnation.
I pray for you and with you that the Almighty God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by the power in the name of Jesus.
Good day beloved and do enjoy your weekend. Peace be with you.
To any of us celebrating anything today this is wishing you the best.
