*CUT TO THE HEART PT16*

*Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do*?"
*Acts 2:36*.

Almost all of us knows about the ten commandments of God and many of us knows it as "thou shall not" but the hearers of bro Peter today is telling you and i that the word of the Lord is not only about "thou shall not* but *thou shall" as well. The gospel always calls you and i to action towards glorifying God and seeking the good of man.

The question "what shall we do" is a question from a heart that is seeking spiritual guidance and a heart that is ready to repent, now they have been convicted of their sin should they go back to their sins and if not what are they to do to make sure that they don't go back to their sins?
*while it is said: "Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion*." *Heb 3:15*.

It is a sign that this people does not want to allow the opportunity of repentance to pass them by and they don't want to postpone it either. So the question isn't merely about changing behavior but about finding a way to be forgiven for their sins and to start a completely new life. 


The word of the Lord birthed a deep internal need for God and His salvation so the question signified a moment of deep spiritual conviction and helplessness in the world and the readiness to do all that they can to effect a change when and where the need arises.

The word of the Lord exposed to them how much God loved them especially by sending His only begotten son to die for their sins even while they were still sinners and they wanting to reciprocate love for love and not wickedness for love like many of us do these days.

I pray for you and with you that wherever you are been accused of not being qualified for the blessings of God that the mercy of God will silence them by the power in the name of Jesus.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your *faith* and never loose *hope* and be fervent in *prayers* and praise knowing that *God*, your father *loves* you specially and personally and will never leave you nor forsake you.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave.
