*CUT TO THE HEART PT14*

*Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do*?"
*Acts 2:36*.

It was what the people saw in the lives of bro Peter and his companions that made them to call them "men and brethren" do you remember that it was this same kind of character that the people also saw in the apostles that made them call them christians in Antioch?

This kind of brethren is stronger than biological relationship because what binds them is stronger than what binds the biological relationship(the blood of Jesus)

This brethren here emphasises the importance of community characterised and bonded by love of God and that of neighbour and rooted in sacrificial living not on greed and materialism.

They saw the kind of unity and love that should characterise the people of God. They saw that this is a community that one will be proud to belong to. They saw that these are worth identifying with and fellowshipping with.

I pray for you and with you that the Lord will increase you on all side by the power in the name of Jesus.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again.
