*LORD AND CHRIST PT2*

"*Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ*."
*Acts 2:36*.

Bro Peter told us that Jesus was made both Lord and Christ as a result of what he achieved by His death, burial and resurrection and what do we make of this? Let us take a look at what bro Paul will have to say.
*Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father*. *Phil 2:5-11*

Sorry that it is a long text but we have to take it because we want to bring our something meaningful in what bro Peter said. Now from the account of bro Paul you will discover that Jesus has two personalities here. Human and Divine.

St Paul here is telling us that the reward that God gave to Jesus was for his human accomplishment not that it changed his divinity nor that it made Him a small God or an assistant God. No sir He is equal with the father in all things and He is God in all ramifications.

God did not make Jesus Lord and Christ so that Jesus can be an assistant God or small God or that Jesus is dependent on God. Jesus and God are equal and bro Paul tells us here that what Jesus is(God) he remained but what He is not(human) He assumed in other to save humanity.

I pray for you and with you that God will reward every good work that you have done with honour and glory by the power in the name of Jesus.
