*THE NAME OF THE LORD PT9*

*And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved*.'
*Acts 2:21*.

Before we go into looking at why we should call on the name let us try to take a look at our journey so far, we have said that to call on the name is not just about calling a name but knowing the bearer of the name. It means coming to the full knowledge of who God is and what He represents in our lives.

We went ahead to see that apart from knowing the bearer of the name that that calling the name has to do with intimacy, relationship with God and knowing the fullness of God or knowing God to the best we can because no one can fully know God.

We could see from the words of St Peter that calling on that name gives one access to God because you cannot call who you don't know and you cannot know God without having a relationship with Him and you cannot have a relationship with Him without having access to Him.

Calling on that name has much to do with divine revelation because it is the desire of God for all men to know Him and to be saved through that knowledge hence He made it possible that as many as can or call on the name will be saved.

That is why having been saved and transformed by God, the saved who is now in love with God and working im relationship with God can then have the desire to be like and to please God and then strive to others to know and to call on the name of the Lord.

I pray for you and with you that you will not lack the blessings of this season by the power in the name of the Lord.
