*THE NAME OF THE LORD PT7*

*And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved*.'
*Acts 2:21*.


We have said that knowledge is progressive and that this kind of knowledge makes one to seek to know more because the more you know the more you know that you don't know hence you will always and constantly seek to know which in turn contributes to your faith building or which we call faith building.

There are some ways to know more about the name and we will be seeing quite a few of them. The first one there is READING THE BIBLE whenever we read the bible the Windows of knowledge of God is opened to us and the opportunity to know God is open to us as well.

You can still read the Bible and not know God depending on how you read the bible. If you read the Bible as a history book like many of us do you will only know about the characters in the bible. If you read the Bible as novel you will only increase in vocabulary and not in the knowledge of God.

But if do not just read the Bible for reading sake or as a novel or a history book you will come to you know and desire to be like men and women of good virtues that are recorded in the bible. Their lifestyle will motivate you to know and to serve God well knowing full well that if others can know God like that you too can if and only if you are ready.

This knowledge will also lead you into what we call meditation. In meditation you sit back and reflect about God, you sit back and want to know his personality and want to know Him personally then what you have read in the bible behind ro make sense to you and you would want to personalise them. At the end it is no longer what you were told but what you know.


I pray for you and with you that you will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water so that you will continue to bear fruit in and out of season by the power in the name of Jesus.
