*THE NAME OF THE LORD PT3* 

*And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved*.'
*Acts 2:21*.

St Peter told us that Whosoever shall call the name of the Lord Shall be saved but the big question now is how do you know the name of the Lord because you cannot call on the name that you don't know. You may know about the name and yet not know that name of the Lord.

Have you ever been in a situation where somebody will meet you and say "excuse me your face look familiar or may i know your name please?" And you may choose to tell the person your name the truth of the matter is that the person may know your name but does not know you.

Or have you heard people say "yes i have been hearing about that name but now i know the person that bears the name" somebody may know your name but may not know your name.

Names can be known anyhow and from anywhere but knowing the name is different and sometimes knowing the name can be in error depending on the context on which you know the name.

Conditions and circumstances can affect he way one may know a name for instance imagine Elizabeth the mother of John the Baptist. Her name was Elizabeth but people choose to call her barren woman not knowing that she was a waiting mother on divine assignment even people that knew her before then all choose to be calling her barren woman because of their expectation of her.

I pray for you and with you that anyone waiting to hear bad news from you in this season will wait till eternity by the power in the name of Jesus.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again.
