*THE NAME OF THE LORD PT15*

*And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved*.'
*Acts 2:21*.

Do you know that it is actually possible to know the name of God without truly knowing God? This can happen in several ways. We will look into it so that we can all be in God genuinely not assuming or believing that we are in God not knowing that we are deceiving ourselves.

*Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, "We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches." Also there were seven sons of sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, "Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you*?"
*Acts 19:13-15*.

They knew what can happen at the mention of the name of Jesus, they knew that anytime Paul calls on that name that demons run away but they don't know why it happens how it happens all that they know is that it happened.

Apart from the fact that Paul was called to do that by the Lord it did not end there. No sir it didn't, Paul had a personal relationship with God and he worked tirelessly to develop that relationship and remained also in that relationship. He did not just know God but he walked with God.

They were familiar with the concept of God or religious teachings without having a personal connection or spiritual understanding of God. knowing God goes beyond intellectual understanding and involves a personal, experiential relationship.

I pray for you and with you that the grace of God will roll away every reproach from your live and frustrate every plan to bring you shame by the power in the name of Jesus.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen!
