*THE NAME OF THE LORD PT14*

*And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved*.'
*Acts 2:21*.

We have seen that when bro Peter talked about calling on the name of the Lord that he was talking about coming to know the bearer of the name and not just knowing the bearer of the name but to go all out to make sure that we worship the bearer of the name.

Though we have talked about how to reverence the name we will continue to see more today how to reverence the name of the Lord. One other way to call on the name of the Lord is not to use the name of the Lord but to give glory to the name of the Lord.

Many of us know how to use the name of the Lord but don't reverence the name of the Lord. By usiing the name of the Lord am talking about those that call on him in trouble but will not go back to him in thanksgiving after He has heard and blessed them.

Many of us too also use the name to manipulate others, making others to know that they don't need God that we are the ones that they need. We make them fell that they cannot have anything to do with God without us, we make them to believe that they cannot go to God accept through us.

To know the name of the Lord is to live a life of honouring God all the days of our lives and to obey him in all circumstances of life. Knowing the name of the Lord is to love God and have a deep devotion to Him, recognizing His goodness and sovereignty.

I pray for you and with you that those waiting for you to fail in life will live to be those that will serve you in life by the reason of the prosperity that God will bring to your life by the power in the name of Jesus.
