*THE NAME OF THE LORD PT13*

*And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved*.'
*Acts 2:21*.

Apart from the fact that the name of the Lord is to be worshipped like we have seen in the case of Abraham after preparing an altar to the Lord the name of the Lord is also meant to be reverenced.
"*You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain*. *Ex 20:7*.

The name of the Lord carry the integrity of God and as such it should be reverenced at all times, it should be called with respect and admiration. We are talking about giving the name the maximum respect that it deserves.

The name of the Lord is so powerful that we must speak of God's name with respect, care, and thoughtfulness. There must be this sober reflection as to why we are calling the name of the Lord and how do we call the name of the Lord because we don't just call the name of the Lord just for calling sake. 

Calling on the name of the Lord entails that we don't abuse that name for the privilege given to us to call on that name, we must Avoid the temptation of misusing the name like using the name of the Lord to swear even after knowing that you are telling lies. Or using the name of the Lord to curse.

I pray for you and with you that enemies of progress will not near or see your prosperity and may they be handicapped in am attempt to do you harm by the power in the name of Jesus.
