*THE NAME OF THE LORD PT12*

*And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved*.'
*Acts 2:21*.

Apart from the fact that the name of the Lord is and still remains a strong tower where the righteous will always run to and be saved there are also other things that we must know about the name of the Lord.

In Genesis chapter four the bible made us to know that at a point in life after evil was spreading after the killing of Abel by Cain his brother the word of God told us that men began to call on the name of the Lord.
*And as for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the name of the Lord*. *Gen 4:26*.

This "men began to call on the name of the Lord" here speaks of repentance, they began to avoid evil and to do good, they refused to follow the footsteps of Cain but choose to call on the name of the Lord.

In the time of Abraham he began to call on the name of the Lord after building an altar to the Lord which signifies worship which means that to name the name of the Lord is to worship God. It is not about shouting the name.
*To the place of the altar which he had made there at first. And there Abram called on the name of the Lord*. *Gen 13:4*

Like we have seen, naming the name of the Lord has to do with running away from evil and not just running or avoiding evil but also worshipping the Lord of the name.

I pray for you and with you that as the rainfall so shall your blessings begin to and continues to fall constantly and increasingly by the power in the name of Jesus.
