*FAITH NUGGETS* 

*THE NAME OF THE LORD PT11*

*And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved*.'
*Acts 2:21*.

Bro Peter told us that when we call on the name of the Lord that it will birth salvation in our lives and in this salvation so many things are in it which we intend to take a look at.

King Solomon in the book of Proverbs told us that this name of the Lord is not just a tower but a strong one that those that knows how to call on the name of the Lord can run into and be saved.
*The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe*. *Prov 18:10*.

Notice that king Solomon told us that this name that we have been looking at is a tower. A tower is what gives us shelter, a shelter is where we run to when we need safety which means that the name of the Lord gives us safety.

A shelter is also a place that we run to when we are threatened by known and unknown dangers. Can you see why we have to know the name of the Lord? Because it will save us from every form of danger.

A shelter is also a place of rest after you have done all that you are doing, so the name is a place of rest from the troubles of life.
*Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest*. *Math 11:28*.

A shelter is a place you go and not the other way round so if you don't go to the shelter the shelter will never come to you and you will never experience the goodness of the shelter in the same vein we are the ones that are supposed to go to the name and not God coming to us or forcing Himself on us.

I pray for you and with you that the name of the Lord will protect you from every form of danger by the power in the name of Jesus.
